The hotel was clean and staff were all outstandingly accommodating.- The bar was good for breakfasts.- The setting was good, close enough to the restaurant and the center of the village.- Plus, the venue was situated not very far from Ullswater 'steamers'.

The Sun Inn in Pooley Bridge is a spotlessly clean place with well-managed staff. It's in a quiet and ideal location surrounded by beautiful scenery, and the gardens are lovely. The bar area is pleasant, and the service is very welcoming. Plus, there's easy on-site parking.

I recently stayed at the Sun Inn for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The location near Ullswater was perfect, with plenty of free parking available. The room was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower was great and the facilities were top-notch. We had dinner at the hotel and it was both delicious and reasonably priced. The included breakfast was delicious and filling. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Highly recommended for a Lake District getaway.
